Protein supplements for muscle building and muscle growth

Proteins are the most important building blocks for muscles, so they are critically important when building muscle mass. While you are training, microscopic tears develop in your muscles. Afterwards, your body swings into action to repair these micro-tears and to make the muscles even stronger. In order for your body to repair this muscle damage, sufficient protein (building blocks) is required. After training , extra protein intake can stimulate your muscles to grow even bigger and stronger.  While you can get these proteins from foods, such as meat, fish, or dairy products, supplements can be a useful added extra. Our high-quality protein supplements Whey Classic Gold, Whey Recovery Gold and Casein Gold provide support for muscle repair and muscle growth.

How much protein do you need for muscle growth?

The ideal amount of protein for building your muscles depends on factors such as your body weight, body fat percentage, type of exercise, and goals. As a useful guideline, you should consume 1.6 to 2.4 grams of protein per kg of body weight, per day. Another key to optimum muscle building is to spread your protein intake evenly throughout the day. The most effective way to stimulate muscle growth is to take around 0.3 grams of protein per kg of body weight every 3 to 4 hours.

The difference between whey and casein proteins

Our product range features two different types of protein supplements – whey protein and casein protein. While these both stimulate muscle growth and repair, they are used at different times. Read our blog to find out more about the difference between whey and casein protein.

Creatine supplement for extra muscle growth

Another supplement that has the proven potential to boost muscle building is creatine. Creatine is the first energy source that your body uses during exercise. So, in addition to its effect on muscle growth, creatine also boosts muscle strength and explosive performance. Creatine Gold exclusively contains pure creatine monohydrate, the most extensively researched form of creatine.
